Assistant Construction Manager
Job Responsibilities: | ||
● | Lead and supervise the site teams of the Developer and consultants to ensure compliance with the contract drawings and specifications, statutory requirements and other specific requirements for carrying out of site works by the contractors | |
● | Manage various contractors and subcontractors to ensure construction works are carried out according to the required quality and programme | |
● | Report regularly with stakeholders on status of projects, identify key issues of concern and possible solutions | |
● | In collaboration with the Project Managers, oversee the project during the construction stage to ensure the highest standard of quality, the approved budget and work programme are met | |
● | In collaboration with the Project Managers, evaluate and advise on good practice construction details in order to achieve standardization for all projects | |
● | Oversee the on-site handover teams of Developer and consultants at the time of project completion to ensure smooth handover of the premises to the owners | |
Job Requirements: | ||
● | Degree holder in Building / Construction Management or other related discipline | |
● | At least 6 years' experience in construction management in large scale residential projects with minimum 3 years in managerial position | |
● | Proven experience of delivering new build and fit-out projects | |
● | Conversant with local government regulations, building contract, construction planning and cost control | |
● | Good leadership, strong communication, negotiation and management skills | |
● | Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese | |
● | Self-motivated, initiative, systematic & able to work under pressure | |
